Ordering Note: Orders of 25 or more will be in panel format with V-score (break) lines between them. Orders of less than 25 will be supplied as individual modules.
This hybrid module is a direct replacement for the Panasonic (Matsushita) MN3101 BBD clock generator. This module fits into the same
8-pin DIL footprint with the same pin-out and functions as the original MN3101. It can be used as a "drop in" replacement to repair vintage equipment,
build kits designed for the MN3101, replace the MN3101 in current production equipment, or it can be used in new designs with MN300X type BBD delay chips such as the MN3005,
MN3007, and MN3009. This module matches the function and mechanical footprint of the MN3101
and can be used in any circuit designed for the MN3101.
No more slugging through Ebay or gray market suppliers for "new old stock" chips that turn out to be
fake or defective. Built with modern silicon, these modules are 100% guaranteed.
This is the only current-production direct replacement ("clone") available anywhere for the MN3101. We designed and tested this
module in collaboration with Made On Earth where it is used in the MOE Analog Chorus 60 effects pedal. Thanks to the
community at PedalPCB and our own testing, it has been verified to work in dozens of popular guitar pedals, effects boxes,
and synthesizers including
- Made On Earth analog chorus 60
- Boss DM-2 delay
- Boss CE-2 chorus
- Boss CE-2B bass chorus
- Roland Juno 6, 60, and 106 synthesizers
- Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man delay/chorus/vibrato
- Mad Bean Pedals Setback delay (DOD FX90 revA clone)
- Mad Bean Pedals Aquababy and Aquaboy Deluxe delays (Boss DM-2 clones)
- Mad Bean Pedals Fraudhacker (Boss BF-2 clone) flanger
- Mad Bean Pedals Man-O-War (Maxon AD-900 clone) delay (* see note below)
- Mad Bean Pedals Pork Barrel chorus (Boss CE-2 clone)

* The Mad Bean Pedals Man-O-War is a clone of the Maxon AD-900. This clone PCB has a design error that did not exist
in the original AD-900 that prevents the CT3101 working correctly without a PCB modification. MBP will be issuing
an errata sheet with modification instructions.
