This kit provides all the parts needed to use an SOIC 16 pin (1.27mm pitch) surface mount device on a PCB designed for DIL-16 packages. The kit includes 16 header pins and 1 adapter board. Unlike many common adapter boards, this adapter converts to standard DIL-16 pin pitch (0.1in, 2.54mm) and row spacing (0.3in, 7.62mm) for an exact fit of DIL applications. The header pins are round and fit into common DIL sockets and PCB footprints.

This adapter can be used for any SOIC device of 16 pins or less.
